Delivery Service Overview
Coastal Rush Errands provides delivery services for Products ordered through our Platform from registered Vendors. These Delivery Terms govern the delivery of Products to customers and the coordination between Vendors and our delivery network.

- Remote Areas: Higher delivery fees for outlying or difficult-to-access areas
- Special Handling: Additional charges for oversized or special handling items
- Failed Delivery Attempts: Fees for repeated failed delivery attempts due to customer unavailability

Customer Responsibilities
Delivery Preparation
- Provide accurate and complete delivery address
- Include clear access instructions and landmarks
- Ensure someone is available to receive the order
- Keep contact phone accessible and charged
- Provide gate codes, building access codes if applicable
Receiving Orders
- Verify order contents upon delivery
- Check for any issues or damages immediately
- Report problems within 30 minutes of delivery
- Provide feedback on delivery experience
- Contact support immediately for assistance
Address Accuracy: We are not responsible for delays or failed deliveries resulting from incorrect or incomplete address information provided by the customer.

Failed Deliveries & Issues

Failed Delivery Procedure
- Driver will attempt contact via phone call
- 10-minute waiting period at delivery address
- Second attempt to contact if no response
- Return to Vendor or depot if delivery fails
- Customer notified of failed delivery attempt
Re-delivery Policy: Failed deliveries due to platform or driver error will be re-attempted at no additional cost. Customer-caused failures may incur re-delivery fees. Repeated failed deliveries may result in account restrictions.

Vendor Coordination & Responsibilities
Vendor Delivery Responsibilities
Order Preparation
- Meet preparation time estimates provided
- Maintain food safety and quality standards
- Use appropriate and secure packaging
- Seal orders securely for transport
- Include necessary utensils and condiments
Driver Coordination
- Have orders ready for pickup at scheduled times
- Provide clear and accessible pickup location
- Communicate delays immediately to Coastal Rush
- Assist with order verification and handover
- Maintain clean and organized pickup area
Vendor Performance Standards
- Preparation Time: Vendors must maintain consistent preparation times as advertised
- Order Accuracy: Ensure correct items are prepared and packaged
- Communication: Promptly notify Coastal Rush of any issues affecting delivery
- Quality Control: Maintain product quality throughout the delivery process

Special Deliveries & Requirements
Age-Restricted Items
- Valid ID required for alcohol/tobacco deliveries
- Recipient must be 18+ years old
- No delivery to intoxicated persons
- Refusal of delivery if requirements not met
Temperature-Sensitive Items
- Special handling for hot/cold items
- Insulated packaging requirements
- Priority delivery for temperature-sensitive orders
- Quality cannot be guaranteed after delivery

Liability & Limitations
Product Quality: While we take reasonable care during delivery, Coastal Rush cannot guarantee Product temperature, quality, or condition upon delivery. Product quality issues should be addressed directly with the Vendor.
Delivery Delays: Coastal Rush shall not be liable for delays caused by factors beyond our reasonable control including but not limited to traffic, weather, road closures, or Vendor delays.
Limited Liability: Our maximum liability for any delivery-related claims shall be limited to the delivery fee paid for that specific order.
